i was suppose to do some more sewing when i got back instead i went for an impromptu supper with caroline. it was a great time catching up, need more time for that. well…we were chatting away and inhaling too much 2nd hand smoke when my mom and my sister showed up looking for me. haha, sorry ai ping and mommy. my jazz ringtone (which sounds a lot less stressful then coldplay) was not loud enough, i’ve switched it back to “in my place — by cold play”. now i’m all showered and am going to sleep but not before leaving you with a picture from the malacca trip (so many more pictures to upload)
Don’t run before you can crawl. It’s a very hard business, full of many, many extremely creative, talented people who work hard and still fail. If you have the basic building blocks behind you, you’re much more likely to do well.
i was just reading ken’s blog and he was saying how we were both surprised at the sales records this month (for uniiko boutique). because i thought that this month’s sale would be very low but instead, it turned out to be the highest this year! or rather these few months!
and i really want to thank God for it, because i have absolutely no clue of how that happened with the holiday trip, the christmas preparations and the funeral all happening in one month. I mean, ya…it doesn’t sound very smart or business wise to say i have no idea of why the sales increases. Right? But the truth is, who does? Even the experts don’t, it’s all just guessing. There are so many factors that can influence and affect the way a business works. Experts can make very calculated guesses…but in the end, it’s still guesses. So i can’t exactly pin point the exact factor that contributed to the increase in sales but with absolute certainty i believe that it is God who worked out everything.
at first i thought i had nothing to blog about for cherry magazine today but i remembered i do. it’s zoe tay…haha, well you’ll see it soon. hopefully i remember to blog about it. ok, let’s get down to business…what’s up for today (hm). oya i also want to thank God for blessing uniiko boutique, sales has gone up this month. phew! and thanks to all my uniiko babes for supporting the store :D have a good tuesday!
